Head Lice clients perspective on Stigma

You people must be angels. It is really devastating when you find out that someone or everyone in your family has head lice. There is so much stigma attached to this problem. People actually look at you differently. And try to stay away. How awful is that! My son just went through the whole ordeal, I notified the school and they chose to ignore the problem. Usually they send home a note letting other children and families know. I can tell you that it was so bad last year in my son’s class, they actually had to store their things in their own individual garbage bags daily. I certainly hope you are available when we need you next. If you have ever had lice before in your home, you certainly do not forget what they look like or how they make you feel. I appreciate your time and consideration and truly feel that you people are doing an incredible job.
