It breaks my heart when I hear a mother on the other end of the line tell me that she has been struggling with head lice for months. It bothers me even more when I asked what she has tried and she says everything. My main question is how many pesticide applications have you used and the answer is an average of 5 to 6. It's not moms fault because she is doing what she has been advised. Yet over exposure and over use of pesticide on children with head lice is becoming a more common occurrence. My mission is to stop that. If you have used a pesticide application the two recommended times and you still have lice. STOP using them.
