Head lice are not living in your home, on your furniture or in your bedding. They prefer to be on your head. The good
news is a louse will die within 24 to 48 hours without a blood meal from you.
The only reason lice may be on your bedding or furniture is because they have fallen off your head or someone else’s
head. They are not laying eggs or colonizing in your home or environment. They are, however, waiting to get back
onto a human head for a meal.
Here is all you need to do for your home or environment:
#1 Place items that can safely be dried on high heat in a dryer for 20 to 30 minutes.
#2 Vacuum items that cannot be dried
#3 If an item cannot be dried or vacuumed, set it aside for 24 to 48 hours.
That’s it!
